Atheist Rights

I do respect religious people if they're sane, but not if they're the kind that forces their beliefs onto you.

Why can't atheists take office in government? Wouldn't that be violating First Amendment Freedom of Religion? It should also be Freedom FROM Religion. I want to keep Church and State SEPARATE. According to our founding fathers, the United States of America was not founded under any religion. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were both very secular.

I'm also tired of atheists being discriminated. Just because I don't believe in God doesn't mean I don't have morals. Just because I don't believe in God doesn't mean I'm not a good person. I love to help out. I love making contributions to food drives. I'm against murder and rape. I'm also against gang violence and shootings.

This stamp doesn't promote violence in any way. I just want a nonviolent Civil Rights movement for atheists. Atheists shouldn't be shunned, they should be treated equally.
