Description
Right now, the only way to play as Luigi in Super Mario Maker is through the Mario costume with Luigi's modern colors, obtainable with a Luigi amiibo figure. In a future update, they should do this:
Give Mario a shake, and you get Luigi. Unlike the Mario costume, you'd actually be able to play as Luigi in all four games. For Super Mario Bros. 3, they should use an 8-bit version of Luigi from SMB3 in Super Mario All Stars. For Super Mario World, they should use Luigi from SMW in Super Mario All Stars.
